DENA Postulants Michael Miller and Tony Baginski received the Brother’s habit in a ceremony held at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ on July 9. More than 100 Brothers were present at the event.
Michael and Tony will enter the Regional Novitiate in Napa, CA beginning August 14. They will be joined by Anwar Martinez and Ken Kalinowski of DENA, and Lewis Harwood from Australia.
Brother Robert Hazard will join this Novitiate as the Sub-Director of Novices and teach Scripture and Church History. He will also help form the Community in which the Novices live and experience the life of a Brother. Brother Robert is a 1956 graduate of La Salle Academy in Providence, RI. He served as its Principal from 1976-1982 and a teacher from 2000-2008.
