Sister Danielle Gagnon, RSM, was selected as the new president of West Catholic Preparatory High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and began the role June 15, 2026.
Sister Danielle previously served the West Catholic community as director of student success and partnerships. She has 25 years of experience in middle and high school education in a variety of roles, including teacher, campus minister, school administrator and director/head of mission.
Sister Danielle professed her final vows with the Sisters of Mercy in 2019.She holds a bachelor’s degree for liberal arts in humanities and a master’s degree in Christian spirituality, as well as certifications in spiritual guidance and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
