“TO DREAM IS OUR WAY FORWARD!” IS THE LASALLIAN THEME FOR THE 2021-2022 LITURGICAL YEAR.
Lasallians are invited to explore and celebrate the theme in their ministries and communities. Lasallian Reflection 7 accompanies the theme and invites Lasallians to look at the horizon of difficult but possible projects, encouraging them to believe in the dreams that can come true when they perceive the passion for humanity and community encounter.
“To Dream is Our Way Forward” is the latest in a series of annual themes developed by the Brother Superior and General Council. Following the 45th General Chapter in 2014, they released seven themes to help Lasallians gain insights and develop integrated responses to extend and deepen the relevance of the Lasallian mission. “To Dream is Our Way Forward” is the eighth theme, which was developed following the postponement of the 46th General Chapter from 2021 to 2022.

The logo, designed by the communications department at the Universidad de La Salle in Bogotá, Colombia, is inspired by the work of a Dutch artist. The triangle represents a strong structure that doesn’t deform and is maintained by the tension of diverse forces, which is an analogy of what is required to achieve a dream. The jagged lines represent how winding new challenges can be. There is metaphorical allusion to the Holy Trinity and building community in diversity.
