Brother Donald Mouton, RIP

Brother Donald Mouton, FSC, of the District of San Francisco New Orleans, died April 17, 2021, in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Among his many contributions to the Lasallian mission, Brother Donald served on the Lasallian Publications editorial board from its inception in 1987 until its completion in 2002. During that time he edited and revised the translation of Explanation of the Method of Interior Prayer, John Baptist de La Salle: Two Early Biographies, and Sacred Scripture in the Spirituality of Saint John Baptist de La Salle. He brought his profound scholarship and animated teaching to the Buttimer Institute of Lasallian Studies from 1991 until 2014, guiding students through year three’s focus on the spirituality of Saint John Baptist de La Salle.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:
A private funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Saint Michael’s Brothers’ Community Chapel in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with burial to follow at Rosario Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
