Lasallian Essentials, a section of De La Salle Today, will appear in each issue and focus on bringing Lasallian documents to life. The section will offer insight on Lasallian publications, share listings of valuable resources and explore topics of Lasallian interest.
Autumn 2023
The Lasallian Essentials in the autumn 2023 issue of De La Salle Today highlights Lasallian Spirituality Today, a February 2023 Institute publication. The document includes three parts: a conceptual graphic, an explanation of Lasallian spirituality and a section that looks to the future, asking how Lasallian spirituality can help meet needs in the world.

The Lasallian Essentials section in the spring 2023 issue of De La Salle Today focuses in on Identity Criteria for the Vitality of Lasallian Educational Ministries (2020), a publication of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools that defines characteristics of Lasallian education and offers assessments to ensure your ministry has a strong Lasallian identity.

Autumn 2022
The Lasallian Essentials section in the autumn 2022 issue of De La Salle Today focuses in on Lasallian Formation for Mission: The Pilgrim’s Handbook, a publication of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools that offers best practices and approaches for Lasallian formation. Published in November 2019, The Pilgrim’s Handbook is the result of a collaborative effort of the Secretariat for Formation and Lasallians worldwide.
Spring 2022
The Lasallian Essentials section in the spring 2022 issue of De La Salle Today showcases Bulletin 260. This publication shares the story of the Lasallian Region of North America, and Lasallian Essentials gives you an overview and ideas on how to use it.
