Institute Announces New Lasallian Theme

The Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools has announced “Lasallian DNA: Where is your focus?” as the Lasallian theme for the 2023-2024 liturgical year, beginning with the first Sunday in Advent.

This is the latest in a series of annual themes developed by the Brother Superior and General Council following the 45th General Chapter in 2014. The themes are intended to help Lasallians gain insights and develop integrated responses to extend and deepen the relevance of the Lasallian mission. This year’s theme is a continuation of the 2022 theme, “Lasallian DNA: What Drives Us to Serve,” that was created prior to the 46th General Chapter.

Lasallians are invited within their ministries and communities to explore this theme and rekindle the commitment of the Leavening Project. Lasallian Reflection 9 focuses on asking the question, “Where is your brother?” and looking to those who are on the peripheries.
