The 2024 International Lasallian Days for Peace (ILDP) are September 21, the United Nations’ sanctioned International Day of Peace, through October 21. This annual event is themed “1 La Salle, Our Pilgrimage Toward Peace.” In response to ongoing international conflicts and violence, this year’s theme focuses on peace to those who face migration and displacement.

The Commission on Youth is hosting another “Let’s talk … Lasallian” virtual event on Monday, September 30, 2024, at 9 a.m. ET. This time will go deeper into this year’s ILDP theme and allow for a global discussion on how Lasallians can continue to promote peace as in their communities. There will also be a keynote from Jerald Joseph, president of the Commission on Justice and Peace.
