College of Santa Fe Now Under a New Administration

 

csf logo The College of Santa Fe (CSF) property was recently purchased by the City of Santa Fe and the College is now being leased and operated by Laureate Education. Founded by the Brothers of the Christian Schools in 1859, the College has served the New Mexico in higher education for 134 years.

Dr. Stuart Kirk, who was CSF president since June 2007, has been appointed vice president of business and institutional development for Laureate’s U.S. campus-based operations. John Allen, faculty member of the CSF film department, has been named vice president for Academic Affairs. Laurence A. Hinz, senior vice president of Laureate Education, is interim president under the new administration. All appointments took effect on October 1, 2009.

For the fall semester, more than 200 students have enrolled at CSF, including more than 70 students for the evening and weekend classes and more than 140 traditional students.
