La Salle Academy in Providence, Rhode Island, has announced Timothy Welsh as its next principal, effective July 1, 2022. Welsh, a 1993 graduate of the school, previously served as its vice president of institutional advancement. He will succeed Donald Kavanagh, who has served as the school’s principal for more than two decades and has announced plans to retire at the end of this academic year.
