Saint Paul’s School in Covington, Louisiana, has appointed Lee Pierre as principal and Matthew Pinero as assistant principal, both effective June 1, 2024. Current principal and president-designate Joe Dickens made the announcement mid-February.
Pierre, the school’s current assistant principal, has worked closely with the school’s administrative team for five years, and more broadly in the community since his hiring in 1999. He holds a master’s degree in teaching from the University of Saint Mary’s in Kansas.
Pinero, who began his time at Saint Paul’s in 2014, is the school’s curriculum coordinator and English department chair. He holds a master’s degree in Lasallian leadership from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
