The Lasallian Region of North America (RELAN) is committed to supporting educators and furthering research at the seven Lasallian colleges and universities in the Region: Bethlehem University, Christian Brothers University, La Salle University, Lewis University, Manhattan College, Saint Mary’s College of California and Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. As part of these efforts, RELAN supports AXIS: Journal of Lasallian Higher Education and created grant opportunities in 2024 to fund Lasallian research.

AXIS: Journal of Lasallian Higher Education
AXIS: Journal of Lasallian Higher Education is a peer-reviewed, open access academic journal, published twice annually. It is under the leadership of the six Lasallian institutions of higher education in the United States in collaboration with Christian Brothers Conference.

Lasallian Research Grants
Lasallian Research Grants are designed to encourage further studies related to the Lasallian tradition. In 2024, grants requests focused on the following areas will be funded: Lasallian pedagogy, Lasallian spirituality, interfaith approaches to Lasallian ministries, and women in the Lasallian mission.

Lasallian Research Travel Grants
Lasallian Research Travel Grants hope to defray research and travel costs for scholars in visiting one of the Lasallian archives in North America, or the Institute Archives in Rome, and foster research related to the Lasallian charism and mission.
